The Role of Graphite
Often overlooked, graphite is the primary anode material in most commercial lithium-ion battery
Growing applications for CSPG
~18-25%
Rapid EV adoption globally, policy incentives, automaker investments
~3-5%
Steady demand for smartphones, laptops, wearables
~20-30%
Growing renewable integration, grid balancing, demand for large-scale energy storage
~4-8%
Aerospace, defence, medical devices; increasing application diversity
2025 Global Anode Industry
China dominates downstream EV battery supply chain, a trend which is unlikely to change
THE CHALLENGE:
Most lack the technology, partners and skills to CSPG quality requirements
HIGH COSTS
EXTENDED QUALIFICATION TIMELINE
NO BINDING OFFTAKES IN PLACE
Fast-Tracking Towards Building Full-Scale CSPG Plant
Construction of an industrial complex for the production of high-purity synthetic graphite (anode material) for electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems
Kazakhstan Refinery Petroleum Coke
Coke production volume ≥150,000 tons/year at present, after reconstruction 360,000 tons/year
Key Insight: Currently, petroleum coke is a raw byproduct. This facility introduces a full processing cycle to convert this byproduct into a critical component for the EV industry, achieving true import substitution and significantly increasing domestic value-added production
Technical Specifications & Production Capacity
Facility Focus
Deep processing of petrochemical feedstock
